Jennifer Brown is the Executive Director of The Field Library. She possesses a Master of Library Science from Texas Woman’s University, Master of Public Administration from the University of North Texas and is completing her Doctorate of Educational Leadership at Manhattanville College. Ms. Brown is also an Adjunct Lecturer in the Graduate School of Library and Information Science at Queens College.
Human Resources Administrator
Rosa Villa obtained her Master of Arts in Human Resources Management from Mercy College. She is the first Human Resources Administrator in The Field Library’s history!
Head of Adult Services
Nora Mulligan is the Head of Adult Services, and the local "Texpert" for Evergreen, our library's software system. She also moderates the Field Notes Book Group, the Field of Mystery Book Group, and finding the right book for the right reader. Her undergraduate degree is in history was from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and her Juris Doctor degree from Harvard Law School. She's been working at the library since 2008, and loves being here.
Rachel Mandel is a Children's Librarian at The Field Library. She earned her Master of Library & Information Science at Syracuse University and has been part of The Field LIbrary staff since 2017. Miss Rachel loves working with children and families, sharing her passion for literacy and love of lifelong learning with the Peekskill community.
Jose Diaz is the Office Manager and Administrative Assistant to the Director. During his time at The Field Library Jose has a number of responsibilities and you will see him working as a Circulation Clerk, Office Manager, and Administrative Assistant. Jose prides himself in doing whatever needs to be done at the moment. He is a horror aficionado and can tell you about any horror movie. As one of our bilingual staff members Jose is happy to help you in Spanish!
Head of Children's Services
Chelsea Holland is the Head of Children's Services at The Field Library. She possesses a Master's of Library and Information Studies from the University College Dublin. She believes in building a love for literacy and learning while having fun! Chelsea enjoys traveling, photography, hiking, and crocheting.
Local History Librarian
Sarah Scott is the Local History Librarian at The Field Library. She received her B.A. in History, M.A in History and M.S in Information Science at SUNY Albany. She enjoys romance novels, handicrafts, dogs and trivia.
Teen Services Librarian
Maggie Leung is the Teen Services Librarian at The Field Library. She earned her Master of Library Science from Queens College, double majored in Cinema and English at Binghamton University, and has served as an AmeriCorps College Adviser to high school students. In her spare time, Maggie enjoys playing video games, reading webcomics, reading fan fiction & watching drag performances.
